DevOps chains can be hard to align

I was recently working with a client to define new DevOps pipeline of tools. DevOps is the software development approach where you continuously build and deploy code in a coordinated fashion across many people or teams. Automation allows you to deploy small features rapidly without breaking anything. For a start up company, you wouldn't do it any other way.

But for a large organization, with many different tools and processes in place, getting to one standard pipeline may take many years. People and technical infrastructure is already in place and it takes time to shift tools

But over time, organizations can get to standard sets of tools, gaining benefits in speed, quaility, and agility as they do so.
